I still don’t have a diagnosis or treatment plan except for some strength and balance therapy. I am grateful beyond words to be able to paint. I have concentrated on the large portrait of my artist friend. Since that work is challenging, I have decided to take a break and do some easier work on a small double portrait. Choosing an image is an important part of creating a successful and beautiful portrait. This image has expression, attitude, joy, color and atmosphere. Now, the artist must achieve the task of putting all that into the painting. For me, these things are fun. When I first started to paint with oils, I could capture a likeness but It was difficult to portray the attitude. Now, ask yourself if you can feel the joy and the summer day. Do the colors and light get your attention? Can you guess the relationship these girls have. If so, I have done my job. Hugs and shalom!
