I am so grateful for many things. I am grateful to not be as nauseous as I was during the first six weeks of this health challenge. I am grateful that the weakness and imbalance has not prevented me from working at my easel. Also, I am grateful that this mysterious illness has finally been diagnosed and hopefully will soon be treated. Of course, tests and doctors visits will soon occupy more of my time. I must be grateful for medical care, even though I had to steer a path through a system that is not perfect. I found it necessary to be a strong self advocate. My doctors were great but it was difficult to get them to understand some things. I do believe that a patient should always be considered a part of the medical team.
I will post one image of a small double portrait. I am also now beginning again on a very special portrait for a great local artist. I did not want to work on it while I was so ill for fear of loosing the likeness I had already achieved. I will hopefully soon post some photos of this work in progress. Now, I hope to forge ahead. That is all for now. Diana
