Welcome to DianaWilliamsPortraits.com.  I’ve created this site so that I am able to respond to those many people who wish to see more of my work.  My intention is to keep things simple so that you can enjoy the paintings as an art lover or examine them closely as an artist studying technique.

I may not have a formal art education but I have found and put into practice methods which produce a pleasing image and which have garnered quite a number of awards both local and regional, including the BEST OF SHOW in the Mr. Fred Rogers Fine Arts Regional Juried Exhibition, 2013 and again in 2016 with the painting entitled Embrace the Differences.(I have placed a list of awards at the end of the BIO and also on Blog.)

I have always learned by observing closely the wonderful examples of the great artists in museums, galleries, the internet, web sites and in person whenever possible so I hope this site provides a similar opportunity for you.   I am  looking forward to offering my talents to produce commissioned works for you at a reasonable price.
