Here are two views of the redo which I am working on for a private student.  Previously, I used this subject  as a demonstration and then gave it a quick finish for a project with my art group.  I found the chiararoscuro so good an example that I decided to use it again in a class setting.  The features are captivating; bright shining eyes, happy smile, good color.  It has worked out well for me to demonstrate with my work while students also work on the same subject.  That way, I can show them by visual example where they can learn and improve what they are doing. I intend to bring this painting to a more refined finish than I did the first one.  You can see the first one in the gallery.
